This is crazy… New Yorkers have already started queuing up to buy iPhone 3G, 7 days before the launch date. Its going to be launched on the 11th. This is weird. Another theory might be that, these guys might be try for a world record in standing in a queue to buy something. Engadget has a coverage on this. Here is what they have to say:
Right now, about ten people have started a line outside of Apple’s flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York. Word is that the family at the head of the queue are attempting to break some kind of record which involves their baby — which kind of sounds a little intense if you ask us.

Google talk is now iPhone friendly and here is what google blog has to say:
In addition to sending your friends Gmail messages from your iPhone, you can now chat with them while you’re on the move, too! In your iPhone browser, just go to www.google.com/talk, sign in and start chatting. That’s it. Google Talk runs entirely in the browser so there’s no need to download or install anything.

News on Unlocking iPhone 3G - iPhone 2.0 firmware has been unlocked. I am glad to tell you anyhow that 2.0 firmware works pretty well on my iPod 32gb. All features are enabled. To install it from windows (or mac) you need a special beta version of itunes. Unless you want to loose installer and all third party apps I strongly suggest you NOT TO UPGRADE (both iPod both iPhone). With the iPhone it's more complicated because you will also need to downgrade the baseband. [know more about Zibri... click here]
