Wayfinder Power Search now on iPhone

Wayfinder has announced its powerful search engine for iPhones. This technology allows for searching a multitude of databases through one unified search field allowing millions of iPhone and iPod touch users to access information covering up to 100 million local search records around the world.

Here is what Wayfinder has to say in its press release – A user can enter a phone number, a persons name or a company name and the Wayfinder Power Search application will return relevant search results. Through agreements with several database providers around the world the end-user will receive relevant answers for the specific country where the search is being made, be it the United States, the U.K., France or elsewhere.

The Wayfinder Power Search application also leverages the built-in iPhone Map application, making it easy for subscribers to find the location of the Power Search results quickly. The search engine is based on Tele Atlas digital map data, to which information from a number of other premium databases is added. For a limited time the premium travel content from Wcities will be searchable as well.
