Google says iPhone will be their key platform for mobiles
Posted on 2008 under iPhone Duniya |Google seems to be benefitting immensely with the ever growing penetration of iPhones in the mobile world. They have been working an their applications compatibility with iPhone platform from the very first day. And now its helping them get the much needed iPhone user base for most of their products. PC Mag released this article last evening and it talks about this very thing. Check out the excerpts:
“We expect to have applications at Day One,” said Vic Gundotra, Google’s vice president of engineering. Google’s Map application has been a showcase feature for Apple’s iPhone. Then again, that’s hardly a surprise for iPhone users–Google’s contributions have been a part of the iPhone since the mobile device was unveiled. Google’s Maps feature played a central role of Steve Jobs’ first iPhone demo at the January 2007 Macworld Expo.
