It took 74 days to sell the first million iPhones way back in 2007, said Steve Jobs. And this time it just took 2 days to hit one million sale mark. This can only happen with a cult like behavior which is so common amongst Apple products. Isn’t this awesome!!! Here is what iLounge has to say:

Apple has announced that it sold its one millionth on Sunday, just three days after its launch on July 11. The phone is currently available in 21 countries, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and the US, and will go on sale in France on July 17. “ had a stunning opening weekend,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “It took 74 days to sell the first one million original iPhones, so the new is clearly off to a great start around the world.”

iPhone and iPod touch users have downloaded more than 10 million applications from the App Store since its launch late last week, Apple has announced.

Nuts to an extent that I have started my own blog on iPhone. I will be covering various developments happening around Apple iPhone. Will cover everything and anything which is even remotely connected to the iPhone. But will put more emphasis on iPhone news and buzz from an Indian perspective.
