Happy IPHONE.
@Dev,
Ok,
At last we got best info forever,
Thanks for info once ag…
@Dev,
Can you get about 16 GB price Pl…
I am not sure SSS, but I guess we got add 5k to 25499 to get an approx price of 16gig. It might be 29999 approx.
I wont trust any sources now. Its been speculated enough. Lets just wait for Airtel-Vodafone to announce it.
if this is true.. i am going to buy iphone 3g next week..
Hmm seems to be faulty pricing..
25499 with no installment
8500 + 699 for 24 months make Rs. 25276 which is less than what you pay without installment.
Which company would like to make losses? haha
Basically, the info that Zee News got looks to be fake.
cheers
Deep
i dont really belive it ,, evenone shouted last week including , times of india , mid-day, tech3 and all reliable sources that it will cost 31k for 8g. now suddenly 2 days before launch this one comes..since iphone is about to be launched on friday, they should reveal the prices by tomorrow,, keep watching this space,, but i dont belive this zee business news to be true and i pray it is true
well let me know will the locals sell iphone 3g or will we get it from vodafone and airtel gallery,, i am planning to stand inline on friday
Check this one guys - http://www.vodafone.in/iPhone/Pages/iPhone_details1.aspx.
Its confirmed vodafone is bringing 8gig for 31000k.
Disappointed with this news…:(
But I still want to wait till 22nd to get an official price from Airtel. This vodafone announcement page is hanging, as its not linked to vodafone.in’s home page nor the press section. Therefore I am still not fully convinced.
Hi Dev,
This price including all taxes ?
Any website or any other news channel confirmed the same price.

Well I pre-registered for one and I just got the email from Vodafone. They say its 31K. I don’t know whom to believe. If Vodafone people are to be true, then Zee Business is simply showing anything without verification.
Anyways, lets hope the Zee Business people are true, as at 31K, I am not going to buy it! What is going on in the minds of mobile companies?
great…. and now the world implodes….
[...] was a dampener, because I had read this yesterday and also saw the news item on Zee Business claiming that there will be an option of phone [...]
31k and no 3G network. Does Vodafone take us for a bunch of morons?
@Dev,
What is go on, Which is true price ??
Pl.try from airtel & Let me now know !
I waiting for your reply
ya guys, even i had registered on vodafone for iphone and today only i got the email abt the pricing. 8gb for 31k’s.. It really doesnt make sense at all.. i doubt zee business people actually have the right info. cuz offical vodafone mail cant be wrong..

I just hope that this piece of information from zee is true,,,,,

JUST HOPING AGAINST HOPE THAT AIRTEL HAS A BETTER PRICE PACK THAN VODAFONE…….
Airtel has confirmed the price - http://www.airtel.in/iphone3g/
Rs. 31000 for 8gig
I think this is outrageous and ridiculous pricing by Apple/Vodafone. I am not going to buy the iPhone for Rs. 31000. It simply does not make sense. Check out my blog for my views on iPhone pricing in India.
And these jokers are so confident that they even continued with the same news today morning even after I got the messages and email from Vodafone.
Hi all
There is a myth in the market place on low pricing of the product (reference price point being Rs. 8000 or Rs.12000/- which refers to AT&T pricing of USD 199 or USD 299).
The reports don’t factor the commitment which a customers needs to give for a particular Price Plan for a period of 24 Months in the case of AT&T. For O2 the commitment is for 18 months with selected plans.
But, if we calculate other cost like montly rental for voice, i.e., 69.99 (USD), the total cost of ownership for the period of 24 months for a 8 GB model comes around Rs.81000/-! The total cost of ownership for O2 is around Rs.200000/- over a period of 18 months.
In first look it looks high, but in long term, it is still cheaper in India. So, don’t stop urself from buying this lovely gadget…
