Apple is likely to start manufacturing new 32GB version of iPhone very soon. The current 16GB iPhone will be categorized under low-end and will be available only in emerging markets like Brazil, Russia, India, and China, while the high-end version will be focused to North America and Europe, reports Dawn Kawamoto of CNET.

Production is anticipated to begin in April and ramp up in May, and the new phones could be announced in June, Daniel Amir, a Lazard Capital Markets analyst, said in his report. The new high-end model will add improvements to the camera, while the low-end model that somehow relies on 3G, both being released in June of this year.

A 32GB flash memory wasnt possible till last year. But now the density of flash memory is set to greatly improve with the release of several chips this year, resulting in chips small enough to fit 32GB into the iPhone’s compact frame. Cool..

Storage was my major problem with the Iphone. Thats why I got the ipod classic instead. With the release of 32 gig I think I’ll go get one.
