TIP: You Can Email Full-Resolution Photos From the iPhone
Posted on 2009 under Tip and Tricks | 3 CommentsDid you know that everytime you send iPhone photos via email, the iPhone automatically crunches those photos down to 800×600. Thats not very good if you want to take a printout or store full 2048×1526 size on your laptop for future reference. Yes iPhone saves every photo you click at this very resolution 2048×1526
.
Now; how would you send a 2048×1526 picture from iPhone? Here is a simple trick shared by DaringFireball’s John Gruber:
Good tip: If you use copy-and-paste instead of the “Email Photo” button in the Camera app, you can email the full-resolution version of the photo.
So instead of going to iPhone’s camera roll and selecting multiple photos, then tapping send email, you got to tap copy button > close the camera roll app > open Email app > launch a new mail window > then hit paste in the body area
). SIMPLE.
You will then be able to send full res 2048×1526 sized photos. Thanks DaringFireball for sharing this cool tip

You can only copy a few pics in your camera roll because those pictures have been synced from your Mac/PC. Synced pics can only be copied and emailed. If you want to delete those pics, you will have to delete it from your Mac.
Quick, maybe stupid, question. I can only select “copy” on certain pics in my camera roll. Why?
