boxcar twitter iphone 166x250 Boxcar V2.0 Coming Soon Critical New Features Has Been AddedIf you have been a Twitter addict, and love twitter push to your iPhone, you must have surely heard of Boxcar iPhone App [$2.99, App Store link]. Earlier Boxcar allowed you to get Twitter @replies and DMs pushed directly to your iPhone. And now with V2.0, Boxcar will include all of the tweets for people you follow, and you can choose from whom to receive too. Boxcar now supports multiple Twitter accounts as well. And what more, Boxcar V2.0 will also works with Facebook Connect and allows you to get push for all new Facebook alerts as well.

Hope App Store approves this V2.0 version soon. Infact TechCrunch has gone GaGA over this app. They have published this article which just goes on talking about what Boxcar can do:

Boxcar 2.0 is simply an amazing application, and a must-have if you are addicted to Twitter, Facebook or simply receiving emails. If you’re addicted to all three like I am, this may be your new favorite app. And for a few dollars, to get all of these notifications, it’s well worth the price of admission.

I suspect this app will be very popular, and hopefully it will push (yes, I went there) Apple into making a better push notification management system for the iPhone. We need to be able to see multiple messages on the locked screen, and keep track of what came in recently from various apps upon unlock. Plus, there should be a universal “quiet hours” option.
