GeoHot was offered $10,000 to unlock iPhone’s 05.11.07 baseband earlier this week. He took up this challenge and said that he would do this job within 1 day. Eventually it took over 24hrs, but the best thing is that he has done it again. He published a video of the first unlocked iPhone running OS 3.1.2 a few hours back. This iPhone is on 05.11.07 baseband and has been unlocked using BlackSn0w:

But you won’t be able to download BlackSn0w yet. GeoHot is still testing it. Once its released, I will upload this post. This is a big news, guys, simply because, Dev-Team hasnt yet been able to unlock it yet.
