Yes you can do exactly what the above picture portrays. You need this $1.99 app called Liquid Scale. This app can do an intelligent analysis of the image you want to crop and then detects the subject in comparison to the background. And then it manipulates the subject and resizes the photo. Liquid Scale allows to scale images horizontally or vertically without distorting the content. A Photo with too much background can be condensed to its main motif. It’s possible to mark image areas to remove or preserve them. No question: Anybody can now perform tricks with images.
