iPad Finally Gets a REAL Competitor – The Honeycomb OS from Google

We all know by now that the Android OS from Google has revolutionized the smartphone market around the world. It has just beaten the Nokia’s Symbian world dominance. Google has definitely hit the jackpot with Android OS for mobile. Looks like the 80’s is going to repeat all over again. Way back in 1980’s Apple came up with MAC OS for its Apple computers, but went on to sell the software bundled with hardware; and Microsoft could dominate the world of PCs in few years by just developing windows OS which were cheap imitation of MAC OS. There were 100’s of computer manufactures who went to sell this windows OS bundled with varieties of computers. And now we are seeing the same phenomenon repeating – Apple wants to sell its iOS with iPhones and iPads and wouldnt want to sell iOS to other hardware manufactures. Google just like Microsoft in 1980’s and 90’s has stumbled upon Android, the killer smartphone OS is open to sell its software to any mobile manufacturer.
Not only Android will rule the world of smartphones, it might rule the tablet space as well. It has just launched the killer tablet OS, Honeycomb. Honeycomb OS will surely beat the iPad dominance in coming years (not months). It will surely do. Imagine 100’s of tablet manufacturers latching onto this OS and launching 100s of tablets.
