Adobe has launched Acrobat.com mobile [Free, App Store] for iPhone. Acrobat.com mobile by developed by scanR allows you access your acrobat.com account from anywhere to view, share, and fax your Acrobat.com documents.
You can use the iPhone 3Gs camera to scan physical documents right into your Acrobat.com account! The application comes with the ability to scan up to 5 pages and fax 2 pages for free; then it will prompt you to purchase additional scan and fax pages through in-app Purchase.
TUAW reports that many early reviews are stating that the app is rather slow and can be expensive once you begin creating or faxing your PDFs, so potential buyers should be aware of those facts. In addition, the app does not support the Web conferencing or online office applications that make the full Acrobat.com so useful to groups.

One of favorite iPhone Twitter app Boxcar which does awesome Push to my iPhone, has just gone FREE. I think this is permanent change. Looks like Boxcar is going to be utilizing the new feature Apple has provided to iPhone developers where developers can start charging for In-App purchases even for free apps. Techcrunch covered this news and mentioned about Boxcar developer Jonathan George idea of utilizing this In-App purchase feature.
Following the announcement today that Apple would now allow in-app purchases for free apps (the feature was previously only available for paid apps), George has decided to make Boxcar completely free. With this free version, you will still get 1 free service (Twitter Stream Push Notifications, Twitter Search Push Notifications, Facebook Notifications, etc), and you will be saving the $3 that you can then use towards buying other services, which will now be $1.99 per service.
Good for Boxcar, I guess. But will it work out? Lets wait and watch. BTW, Boxcar has already been updated and is free [App Store link]. Best of luck George.
