Hello Guys,

Good news for us, If you are willing to buy an iPhone 3GS now and that too unlcoked by Apple ask someone in Australia to get it.

Apple started selling unlocked iPhones in Australia, you can buy an unlocked iPhone 3G or 3GS from Apple's online store.

Below are the prices in INR
Indian Rs: iPhone 3G Black:         27,581
              iPhone 3GS 16GB B/W: 33,661
              iPhone 3GS 32GB B/W: 39,816

I am planning to get one, because it is unlocked and we can use 3G using BSNL Sim....
Hurray!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw a guy posted iphone ad in Bangalore craig list for 70000/- thats riduculous.

Cheers!!!

I'd rather wait another month. There have been some reports indicating that the unlocked iPhone will be avavilble as an option. But if I had someone coming from aus or Europe I'd have ordered one right away. Want 3GS right now man.

Dont know about Vodafone. But airtel is bound to unlock your iPhone 3G once you`ve used it for 12 months.
