I was kinda wanting to wrte this since 3-4 days but wasnt being able 2 find time...Its kinda irritating when u wanna wrte something and cant find time to!
But anyways now m back here!This post may change the gaming life of a lot of people-I will tell u how!Read on!
Currently the hottest iphone gaming genre is PUZZLES with more than 700 and counting games falling in this genre...
This is followed closely(not in number of games but in no of people who are addicted to this genre) by TOWER DEFENCE!
For those of u not quite aware of this genre i will brief u on it-Defence tower is a strategy based game where ur objective is to guard a building from being infiltrated by the enemies!U have to use towers and u have to place them,create strategies and stop them!
In the process, u can upgrade ur towers,make them more powerful,earn money by killing enemies and use the money for research and develpmnt or upgradation...etc etc..
If it didnt interest u yet don worry cz u have not yet tried it....
MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVENT TRIED ANY TD GAME DONT KNOW HOW ADDICTIVE IT CAN GET!
If u love any of the following games there is a very high chance that u gona love TD games-
Simcity (my fvt
)
Age of empires
Roller coaster tycoon
Zoo tycoon
Sims(maybe)
etc etc...
It is because of the reason that all these games are strategy games requiring to do things,careful planning and then u enjoy when the fruits of ur planning are borne!
Same with TD games!
Well I am a huge strategy genre game fan and so TD genre really excites me!
And there are lots and lots of people I have come across either physically or virtually who once attached to TD GAMES cant thnk of anythng else!
But what is the connection between Tower Defence and IPHONE??
Answer is that there r some gr8 gr8 games in the TD genre currently available on the iphone...
So if u like the genre and its style there are good times waiting ahead 4u 2 try out the other gr8 games..
Now how do u get to test this genre without spending a buck?
Answer- Tapdefence!
For all those of u who have played Fieldrunners,lemme tell u in advance that its nowhre close 2 it.
But it is indeed a really really good game and is worth money!I would say about 2$...!
Tapdefence is an ad supported game but in my experience of the game the ads dnt even bother a bit!I dint even realize that there r ads in it!I am sure it wont bother others also!
The graphics of the game are somewhere between decent to good!
If u have ever played Fieldrunners,then the graphics of tapdefence wud seem decent 2 u and if it is vice-versa then the graphics wud look good to u!
Initially u get 3 towers and then slowly with research u can extend it 2 6!
Also there r 42 levels+7 types of enemies!
They say it has sound but i dint hear any!
Many other users have also reported the same problm...My guess is that it is sum kinda bug!
But try this out 4 sure folks....Its FREE! it might be addictive!And even if its not addictive it will surely not dissapoint u 4 d time u spend on it-my guarentee!!!
PS-IF ANYONE AFTER HAVING TRIED OUT THIS GAME OR OTHERWISE BECOMES INTERESTED IN TD GAMES POST HERE-I WILL RUN A SEPERATE THREAD ON ALL THE AWESOME GAMES U CAN GET UNDER THIS GENRE...!
