Hi i want to buy the 3gs can anyone of you tell me how to identify a factory unlocked model?

A factory unlocked can be updated to the latest OS firmware without any problem. You need to check if your iPhone is on 3.1.2 firmware and it doesnt have either of these 2 apps, Cydia and/or Blackra1n.

There are some sellers on ebay India selling Factory unlocked iphone 3gs !!

I did call one guy he said its factory unlocked from Apple but 45k something for an 16gb one very expensive.

Ebay is shit..never buy an iphone from ebay..never..
As i mentioned in the other thread apple australia is selling 3gs 16gb for 35.5k...
Pretty good price for an officially unlocked phone...
