Well m starting the gaming section with my all time favourite-SIMCITY!!!

If you have ever played this one,u wont be able to supress a smile while having a look at this...trust me...!!!:-)

iF u havent heard of simcity and wondering what it actually is read on buddy-

It is a strategic game based on building and running your own city.You are the mayor of a city,given a piece of land and money and you have to build a city out of it...
you have all the options in the world u can dream of-
starting wt power plants,water pumps,roads,houses,parks,subway stations,airports,docks,police station,fire  stations,hospitals,and the list goes on and on and on.....

you are in charge of taxes,budget...you can make gambling legal and earn money while at the same time increasing crime or you can avoid the money and keep crime away....
control the air pollution,keep a tab on air pollution....enter into a trade agreement with wt ur neighbours,etc etc...

I can go on for hours....

Expected to arrive in d ap store in december...keep a very close watch on it...and news on it pls pls post...
any comments are welcome....!

well I made the first post yestesday and today v got news buddy  ..
Venturebeat.com has posted that they had the chance to try the demo version of simcity and found it to be of very high quality...well folks that's great news...They also confirmed our suspicions that the game would be launched in December for 9.99$(well price was expected to be so)...

So now I can spend my money for November and wait to get my hands on simcity in December...

Say cheers to ea sports... :-)

Well it seems that v wont get 2 c simcity bfre d last 7 days of december..I say this cz ea sports r holding 3 demo events at select apple stores in d US...the dates are-
13th dec-L.A.
14 th-San Fransisco
20 th- chicago..

Dnt thnk dey gona release it bfre the demo round gets over..
Considering that even if they plan to release it by 21st or 22nd it will take 2 days or something to appear in d indian stores..ashas been the case with all other ea sports' products..(including monopoly if ny1 actually tracked it-I did!)

I might be wrng on the whole thing but as of now it seems logical..!

Yes and i can assign a lot of reasons for it-

1.Ea sports has communicated it thru unofficial channels like the guy at venturebeat.com..ok?
2.Both these games are very high end games which have great graphics..a lot of money has veen spent on them..these are high end games.hence 9.99 price tag
3.These gamrmes have huge huge demand and ppl wud hve no issues wt paying 9.99 for both d games!so y price it 4 less than 9.99
4.going by the past trends most of ea games have been priced at 9.99$...

Initially there was a vry strong sense of anticipation in the market tgat ea might charge MORE than 9.99 for both these very hyped games...but after it was communicated thru unofficial channels (lots of them actually),this issue came to rest...hope it answers ur query!

UPDATE:
M very happy to say that my forecast abt the arrival of simcity is WRONG! Cheesy
Simcity has been submitted to apple today!!!!This means that it should be out in the app store within a week...!ADD another 48 hours for its entry into indian itunes store!and thats it!!!

I am geting damn dam excited about it!
The iphone version of simcity is based on simcity 3000 for pc!It was the best of all the simcity series!I will try to post everythn i can abt simciy 3000 for people 2 read and understnd!

However 2 features r missing in the iphone version-One is uneven terrain and the second is the one i loved a lot Sad-subways!!!!

All others are included!Thats gr8 news..!
The game is not completely 3D so as to address the issues of battery life!
But the graphics are truly gr8 as reported by those who tried the demo!The animations are all there such as cars driving,flights leaving from the airport!All the advisors of the city are there etc etc.
How are my days gona pass till it arrives specially the time between its release in the US itunes store and the indian store!

The price is confirmed as 9.99$.Folks get ready....Here comes the best of it all! Smiley Cool

Hey folks ,guess what?

Ea mobile,the subidiary of ea sports just updated their website wth some simcity news..!!

There are some more screenshots that they have posted on their website-






This implies that the game is very close to being released....!mayb in a day or 2 perhaps...
In case anybody dosent knw how to play the game or would like to know how to get started post here....I will provide with  detailed instructions on how to go about it Grin

I always keep myslf updated every hour abt whats happenin in the iphone world bt today i was busy and dnt check...and now m gettin 2 knw after so many hours that sim city has arrived...!
