MMS is enabled by default now, but still doesn’t work properly on AT&T without some tweaks
Tethering still works via the hack
Major update to the baseband 05.08.01 (fewer dropped calls?). For SIM unlockers, you’ll want to skip
Startup/Shutdown times improved. Also opening/closing applications
Bluetooth AVRCP profiles still not supported
When entering email addresses, iPhone recognizes Google sync contacts
Some 3GS owner/developers notice that they don’t have to put their device in the device list for their iPhones to be activated under 3.1 (via - computerworld.com)

Knights Onrush - Review Reviewed by Kittu Dhanoa
Price: $4.99 - Was on Salet: $0.99. Its still available for $2.99
Genre: Tower Castle Defence , Action
Hi Guys. Bought this game yesterday, after checking out the lite version first, and liked what I saw err played. Game’s on sale right now and so I just couldn’t resist the temptation.
My first impression of the Game: Its the ‘Pocket God’ upgraded - Seems as if the pocket gods have finally got a purpose to torture somebody besides the harmless & peaceful pygmies. However, my friend & fellow forum member ‘Vikas’ seems to think its the ‘Stick Wars’ Upgraded - with cute animation & graphics.
Whatever may be the case, its certainly a fresh take on tower/castle defence genre games. Personally, I dont like any of the tower defense games including the hugely popular ‘Field Runners’ - I just never did not see any point in deploying all those guns etc etc and then wait a watch the field runner army walk in and …. wait and see.
So, why did I pick up this game? I got taken in by the cute graphic screen shots. And when I tried out the lite version , I got hooked. Knights Onrush is a fantastic game & ‘chillingo’ has certainly proved just how nicely ‘castle defense’ genre can be done.
DOOM Resurrection was launched yesterday and looks like the whole iPhone world is going GAGA over this game. Developed by id Software, this game is the iPhone version of the original Doom game. Coming to this review, usually Kittu Dhanoa from our forum does a detailed review of interesting games that get launched on App Store. Hey, I would like to thank Kittu for these awesome reviews. Kittu will be reviewing this game very soon. In the meanwhile, Vikas, another dedicated member of our forum has just written an awesome and casual review about DOOM Resurrection. Thanks buddy :). Check it out:
In one simple word the game is Fan-DOOM-Tastic. Ok that wasnt one word. But pretty much sums up the marvelous game. Id has done 100% justice to the series. There couldnt be anything more I could ask from an iPhone port of doom(ok maybe multiplayer and those half clad girls in the original game ). I was skeptical about the game as I hadnt read anything about the control scheme. In fact I had assumed it`ll be using an onscreen D-Pad/joystics like the rest of FPS games on iPhone. I hate these d-pads on any iPhone game but still play them as there is no option other than not getting the game in the first place(which is is not really an option either as so many great games are coming out for iPhone. Cant resist at all).
Quite a few fake iPhone 3Gs and 3GS are making rounds in eBay. Check this video. Its an absolute replica of the original. You might find one when you search on eBay as well. These guys can fake everything but the OS is difficult to match. Nothing can beat the original iPhone 3.0 OS:
