RAZR has been the most popular handset around the world all this while. This has become history. iPhone has beaten Motorola’s RAZR to become the most purchased handset in the US. AppleInsider has shared this news:
The shift puts an end to the RAZR’s three-year run atop the market, with the Motorola handset falling to the second slot, followed by Research in Motion’s Blackberry Curve, LG’s Rumor, and LG’s enV2, respectively.
“The displacement of the RAZR by the iPhone 3G represents a watershed shift in handset design from fashion to fashionable functionality,” said Ross Rubin, director of industry analysis for NPD. “Four of the five best-selling handsets in the third quarter were optimized for messaging and other advanced Internet features.”
This new iPhone ad went on air last week. I don’t know why I like adding iPhone ads to my blog. I dont have any answer, if you ask me. Might be because, being in India, I don’t get to see these ads

Quickly create, view, modify and rearrange conceptual maps for notetaking in brainstormings and meetings or to sketch out ideas and concepts.

Backup files online and access them with your Mac or PC.
This time its CastCatcher Internet Radio’s version update got rejected by Apple. The reason being “Too much bandwidth”. I really don’t understand why Apple should be bothered about bandwidth issues, when the user is ready to pay for it. Moreover if its on WiFi, it wouldnt even cost a dime. Apple seems to decide whats good for us… crazy. This is no good. Here is what return7 have shared on their blog:
CastCatcher Internet Radio cannot be posted to the App Store because it is transferring excessive volumes of data over the cellular network, which as outlined in the iPhone SDK Agreement section 3.3.15, is prohibited
Right. Except for the fact that every other radio app works over cell network as well AND Apple has approved THREE prior releases of CastCatcher. We’ve emailed them and are hoping to resolve this quickly. CastCatcher does not burden cell networks any more than any other radio application. Ridiculous.
iPhone users have more reason to cheer. A new study by SquareTrade finds that the iPhone is 2 times more reliable than Blackberry after one year of ownership.
SquareTrade, which sells extra warranties for cell phones and other devices, looked at the failure rates of 15,000 phones covered under its plans. The malfunction rate for iPhones after one year is 5.6 percent, compared to 11.2 percent for the Blackberry and 16.2 percent for the Treo.
I just downloaded this mindblowwwing app. You got to check out this video. I won’t say anything else
Let me share with you something more:

Enable in Settings/General/Keyboard/International Keyboards the Japanese keyboard.
When you type something with it in Notes it will change the font from Marker Felt to Helvetica.
