Looks like iPhone’s China story is not that bad. Macworld has reported that China Unicom has sold over 100,000 iPhones despite lack of Wifi in Chinese iPhones sold by Apple. iPhones were launched on the 30th October ‘09 in China. This marks a rise in the pace of iPhone sales, which is good sign.
China Unicom gave no other details on its iPhone sales but called the handset a “great success.” The carrier is selling both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, but its versions have Wi-Fi removed to comply with local regulations.
China Unicom is selling the 32GB iPhone 3GS with no service contract for 6,999 yuan ($1,023), while users pay a little over $800 for the phone in nearby Hong Kong.

The merchant planet Solbot of the Wondda galaxy was not always a merchant planet and a member of the Allied Planets organization. Not long ago it waged a bitter war with the malevolent aliens form the planet Tarra, who planned to seize this strategic outpost. As an allied pilot I, too, joined the fight only to come out of it as a captain Zed Pelin, a pilot of the merchant company on a new and independent planet. That could be the end of my story, but rather it’s just a beginning…
FEATURES:
* stunning graphics & artworks
* high quality particle effects (fires, steams, explosions, radiations etc.)

Apple has approved the first live video streaming app called the Ustream Live Broadcaster which streams over 3G connection. Ustream Live Broadcaster [Free, App Store] offers users the ability to stream live video directly from their iPhones via Wi-Fi and through 3G connection as well.
Easily stream live moments from your phone and share with your friends, family, fans, followers and others — and have the recording of your video afterward! This application works on 3G or Wifi, and you can notify your Twitter community when you start broadcasting. Interact with your viewers during your broadcast using chat or Ustream’s Social Stream, which integrates a live feed of Twitter messages.
Moreover, this app enables you to share recorded videos to Ustream, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube, and automatically streams and records to Ustream show page.
Here is the feature list:
* iPhone 3G & 3GS model
* 3G & Wifi
* Polling (you can initiate a yes/no poll and see the results in real time)
* Works with portrait
* Allows auto record
* Record to phone without 3G or Wifi and upload later
* View chat and Social Stream
* Choose video resolution
* Viewer count
* Send GPS location and more.
UPDATE: Ustream Live Broadcaster actually records videos on iPhone 3G as well. This comes as surprise to me. I just finished recording using this cool app on my iPhone 3G. AWESOME. Will share this video on YouTube in a while. Thanks Apple for approving this app

The only thing stopping me using Google Mobile App [Free, App Store link] was that everytime I spoke to it looking for something, it would open iPhone Safari and then display results. Thankfully Google has updated this app and now the search results are displayed with more results at once and, more importantly, opens web pages from the results within the app. I am now going to bring back this app onto the 2nd page of my springboard.
New Features:
Search results open inside application.
Support for users inside China.
New search bar interface.
Adds support for choosing spoken language for searching by voice.
Exposes easter egg options for all.
Increased size of search history list.

On the subject of searching by voice, you can now choose your spoken language or accent. For example, if you’re Australian but live in London, you can improve the recognition accuracy by selecting Australian in the Voice Search settings. And now both Mandarin and Japanese are supported languages as well.
