If you are an iPhone fan, you got to check out this article on Time Magazine - ‘Top 10 Apple Moments‘. A must read for all Apple Cult followers. Its just amazing to watch how Steve Jobs built Apple to what it is today. The story goes like this - Steve Jobs was a 21-year-old college dropout living with his parents in Los Altos, Calif, where he and two friends, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, would hang out in the garage… and as we all say ‘rest is history”
Can you believe this was the first Apple computer?
Quote - “ The first Apple computer seems positively antique by today’s standards. Hand-built by Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in Steve Jobs’ parents’ garage and first introduced at the Homebrew Computer Club in Palo Alto, Calif. in 1976, the Apple I had the speed and memory of a wood-framed, build-it-yourself pocket calculator.”
And the first iPhone Launch at 5th Avenue
Quote - “The June 29, 2007 release of iPhone in the U.S prompted enormous lines outside of Apple stores as well as adoring praise from reviewers (it was also named TIME’s “Invention of the Year.”)”
AWESOME… I have been a big big fan of Apple and I cherish updating this blog of mine everyday. This blog is nothing but a way of expressing my deepest love and admiration for iPhone and Apple.
Its now Palm’s turn to respond to Tim Cooks’ earlier question about how the Palm Pre is emulating the iPhone like touch interface which is IP protected. This is what Tim said earlier this week:
I’m not talking about any specific company. I’m just making a general statement. We think competition is good, it makes us better. But we will not stand to have our IP ripped off. We’ll use whatever weapons we have at our disposal. I don’t know that I can be more clear than that.
And now we have Lynn Fox, a Palm spokesperson has to say:
Palm has a long history of innovation that is reflected in our products and robust patent portfolio, and we have long been recognized for our fundamental patents in the mobile space. If faced with legal action, we are confident that we have the tools necessary to defend ourselves.
This is going to be damn interesting :). Lets wait for Apple’s response on what Fox has said.
Yes, Australians will be the first to enjoy iPhone and iPod touch connectivity in all classes onboard Singapore Airline Flights. This news was shared by news.com.au:
The service will be available to Economy Class passengers for the first time in Australia when the A330 enters commercial service on the Brisbane-Singapore route on March 30. The iPod and iPhone connectivity feature means customers will be able to enjoy their own videos and music through the inflight entertainment system onboard.
In addition to the iPod and iPhone connectivity, the multi-port panel contains a USB port, enabling customers to listen to their own music, view their photos or read PDFs.
Damn cool idea. If you are one of those who travel a lot and cant find enough time to charge the iPhone, get this ‘Solar iPhone Leather Flip Case’. Costs around $44 and can charge your iPhone on the go, just attach your iPhone to the charging case, find some sun (or artificial light), and go

Apple has approved an iBoob look-a-like app called Wobble [$0.99, AppStore link]. Wobble adds a few more features to the basic iBoob like app which Apple had denied earlier. Apple had denied iBoob app on the grounds that it’s either obscene, pornographic, offensive or defamatory. This is strange. Looks like Apple is not very sure if its AppStore should follow stringent guidelines on app approval policy.
Glentwood pty ltd is the company behind this app. Wobble is described as - Add Fun Wobbly Bits to People in Your Photos! Wobble is the only application that can make ANY body part on people in your photos wobble like jelly. Boobs and Booty jiggle and bounce like real when you shake your phone.
