If you are on OS 3.1 and not happy with the way battery gets drained in few hours, dont worry, Apple will soon release a new firmware and sort it out. There is something good about 3.1 firmware which I would like to share. Along with Genius feature for App, you can now Edit Videos easily even if you are on iPhone 3G. And there is no need to jailbreak your iPhone either. You dont need 3GS to get this cool feature.

For this feature to work, you need to first upgrade to 3.1 firmware and then 1. Email a video to your iPhone email account. 2. Save the video to your camera roll. 3. When you run that video you will be able to edit it easily and save the changes. Simple.

You can now Edit, Filter and Sort Google Docs Spreadsheets with iPhone. This is going to be just the right thing needed to make iPhone more friendly to users who couldn’t edit their spreadsheets on iPhone. But this doesnt work with Docs and Presentations. This news was announced on Google Blog by Eric Bogs, who is a User Interface Software Engineer:
Today, I’m happy to announce that we’ve made mobile access even better by adding new capabilities with List View for spreadsheets. You can quickly view, edit, sort, and filter your spreadsheets on a variety of mobile devices including Android-powered devices like the T-Mobile G1, the iPhone and iPod touch, and the Nokia S60.
The ability to edit spreadsheets when you are on the move would be quite useful. Any changes that are made on the iPhone gets automatically synced and immediately available on the desktop version. The edit functionality is currently available only for Google Docs Spreadsheets, you can only view Presentations and Docs. Let me share a few screenshots:
