Make international calls with RingFree on iPhone - 1st Month Free
Posted on 2008 under iPhone Duniya | 1 CommentThis web app looks interesting. Have tried Jajah and Skype on iPhone but haven’t found it easy to use considering both use iPhone’s browser to make and recieve calls.
RingFree also uses a similar interface to make and receive calls. I haven’t yet tested it as I am facing a bit of an issue with registration process - after choosing India from the country dropdown, I am not able to select Airtel from the carrier’s dropdrow. I guess there is some AJAX scripting error. But I think registration should happen if you are in US as the carrier’s dropdown is showing all service providers of US by default.
Here is what RingFree has to say:
Give your iPhone a whole new voice
Connect your existing phone services to your iPhone.
- RingFree enables you to use the SIP, Voice over IP, PBX and/or IP-based phone systems you already have from your iPhone.
- Make international calls on your iPhone for the same great rate rates you get from your home phone.
- Make free IP-based calls (GoogleTalk, Yahoo!, MSN) from your iPhone.
- Make business calls using your office’s PBX system even when you’re out and about — your calls will look like they come from your office on the receiver’s caller ID. Plus, the calls will get billed to your business.
- The first month is free. At just $30/year, your RingFree registration pays for itself after just a few calls.
