Here are few insights on that is present on every JailBroken :

  1. is now the largest third-party developer community
  2. The Featured tab has a new section called “Featured Applications”. Pretty cool stuff. I guess most of us would have missed this, but the next time you launch , don’t forget to check Top 5 applications. Here is the screenshot:

  3. If you are facing issues with “ not refreshing everytime you open this app”, Here is why this is happening:
    • is make to auto refresh every 12 hours only. So if you open this app within 12 hours it will not refresh automatically.
    • If you intend to manually refresh , Here is how to do it. Open and then hit “Sources” tab > click on top left tab called “Refresh”. And will start refreshing its list of apps.
  4. There is nothing one cannot do anything about the speed at which refreshes. Sometimes it takes ages to refresh and few times it refreshes pretty quickly. This is entirely due to the server load from where the list is refreshed.
  5. To Add a new repository/source or Rogue/Community source, hit Sources tab and click “Edit” button on the top right and then hit “Add”.

Last but not the least - For best performance, make sure that you are not on EDGE connectivity but on WIFI while downloading any new native application.

This is news… reporter has added a Jailbroken screenshot of in its list of Top 10 Gadgets of 2007. I am sure Steve Jobs would be furious over this. iPhone Dev Team's Pwnage Tool

iPhone 3G & 2.0 firmware has been successfully unlocked Update 1: Just to clear up some confusion over what this actually does: yes, it jailbreaks and unlocks older iPhones, and jailbreaks iPhone 3Gs and iPod Touches. We only support the 2.0 firmwares.
Update 2: It looks like there aren’t enough TCP ports on that server, so _BigBoss_ has generously offered to mirror it.
Update 3: If you get Error 1600 from iTunes (or if you see in your log a failure to prepare x12220000_4_Recovery.ipsw), try: mkdir “~/Library/iTunes/Device Support” ; if that directory already exists, remove any files in it. Then re-run PwnageTool. . [know more about iPhoneDevTeam... click here]
