This game use to be a big big hit during my Handspring days. Everyone who used to use Palm would swear by this game. This is a strategy game where the idea is to sell dope at its best price while hopping from one city to another. This is what BGR has to say about this native app
iDope, as it is cleverly named, is an amazingly accurate port of the popular Dope Wars game. It offers all of the features we’ve come to know and love, including the ability to pay off loan shark loans, location hopping, a wide variety of “product” to choose from, randomized police chases, a “hospital” option to treat any injuries sustained from the aforementioned roadblocks, and much more.

How to Install:
Start using iDope by going to the Games tab under installer.app and hit iDope app.

This comes as a relief for iPhone users like me, who have been looking for a mobilechat alternative from quite some time now. MobileChat doesn’t work with Gtalk for some reason. iChabber comes as another option.
Pretty interesting and simple interface making it just the thing I would want to use. The only complain, if you guys could support MSN and Yahoo messenger support, I would just love it.
Here is what the people behind this native app have to say - Gtalk/Jabber client with simple user interface for the ipod touch and iphone. HTTP proxy connection is supported. The application tested with ipod touch and iphone firmware 1.1.4.

Here are few insights on Installer.app that is present on every JailBroken iPhone:
- Installer.app is now the largest third-party iPhone developer community
- The Featured tab has a new section called “Featured Applications”. Pretty cool stuff. I guess most of us would have missed this, but the next time you launch Installer.app, don’t forget to check Top 5 applications. Here is the screenshot:

- If you are facing issues with “Installer not refreshing everytime you open this app”, Here is why this is happening:
- Installer.app is make to auto refresh every 12 hours only. So if you open this app within 12 hours it will not refresh automatically.
- If you intend to manually refresh Installer.app, Here is how to do it. Open Installer.app and then hit “Sources” tab > click on top left tab called “Refresh”. And Installer will start refreshing its list of apps.
- There is nothing one cannot do anything about the speed at which Installer.app refreshes. Sometimes it takes ages to refresh and few times it refreshes pretty quickly. This is entirely due to the server load from where the list is refreshed.
- To Add a new repository/source or Rogue/Community source, hit Sources tab and click “Edit” button on the top right and then hit “Add”.
Last but not the least - For best performance, make sure that you are not on EDGE connectivity but on WIFI while downloading any new native application.

Erica Suden has come up with another little ingenious app called Listen. Believe it or not, just hold your iPhone up to some music, and your iphone will happily list the song, artist and album! Never again will you have to ask everyone around you “what’s that song again?”For now you can visit Eric’s “Site” to download or grab it off of installer thanks to STE Packaging.
