When I downloaded this [AppStore] game, I dint expect it to be such an addictive one. This Pool game allows you to play with online pool players who are online that very moment. Since its a Lite version, it doesnt cost anything. Though the full version brings offline mode and few more features, the lite version will keep me busy for quite a few weeks for sure. The graphics and interface is just too cool. Check it out:

One of the most promising board games on iPhone ‘Pool’ has been updated to 2.0 and has few great features. For those who haven’t heard about this game, here is a brief update - Pool for the iPhone is a native Pocket Billiard game to run on Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.

Features:

• Single-player mode
• Two-player mode
• vs. Computer mode
• 8-Ball and 9-Ball games
• Autosave game on exit
• Easy cue direction and ball speed adjustment
• Two ball sizes (16 and 18 pixels)
• Fully customizable view and behavior

Free version of the game has some restrictions: - Allowed only 7 games a day (Two-player and vs. Computer modes) - Save/Load option is disabled - Match length is fixed to 1.
