Though I feel that this app might not get approved by Apple, Kevin Rose says that QIK is one of the most popular Live Video Streaming app and will be on AppStore soon. Lets hope this comes true. I had used this app on my iPhone 1st get long time back and found it awesome.
iPhoneAlley is of the same opinion as well, Apple might most probably reject QIK simply because it tries to access the iPhone camera and Apple does not currently allow direct camera access to 3rd-party applications. Here is what iPhoneAlley has to say:

Hi, I have been using this awesome invention called the Apple iPhone from November 2007 and have gone nutzzz over it. Nuts to an extent that I started this blog which talks just about iPhone and nothing else.
