Apple has released the 2.2 SDK to current iPhone Developers. Gizmodo has shared this screenshot from Gear Live. Apple seems to working pretty fast towards making iPhone 3G the most sought after phone in the smartphone space. With 2.1 firmware update, Apple fixed most of the iPhone’s bugs and with 2.2 firmware, iPhone would be a better smart phone for sure.

Well, that was speedy. Not too long after iPhone 2.1 arrived to fix most of iPhone 2.0’s most damning problems, Apple has seeded OS 2.2 Beta 1 to developers. No one’s had a chance to dive in yet to see what’s new, but some mo’ bug fixes, push notifications (finally) and added GPS features sound like a good bet, now that most of the bigger bugs are squished.
