Are you getting Sync Error 0xE8000043 after installing Cooliris?
Posted on 2008 under Software Fixes | 5 CommentsI had installed this cool looking app called Cooliris last week. And after 2 days while I was syncing my iPhone, I got this error “Sync Error 0xE800004″ saying that iTunes couldnt install Cooliris on my iPhone. I the deleted that app from my iPhone. Wanted to add it again from iTunes and remove it from iTunes to get rid of that bugging error message.
But then when I tried to add Cooliris, iTunes would say that this app is not available in Indian Store. Then I realised that because Cooliris developers wanted to sell this app only to US customers, this problem started cropping up.
I am still getting this error “Sync Error 0xE8000043″ and will keep getting till Apple gets this sorted. This morning I checked the same problem on Apple Discussion forum. So many users are facing this very problem. Let me share those notes made by few frustrated users:

- When I tried to sync again iTunes told me I had a purchase on my phone that was not in iTunes and it asks if I want to transfer it over. No matter what I do iTunes thinks the application is on my Phone and it will try to remove it everytime I sync and it will gove me the 0xE8000043 error.
- I have the exactly the same problem and done the same actions.
What is the name of the application that cannot be removed ?
In my case it is Cooliris. - I am having the same problem… also with CoolIris. Anyone have any other workarounds?
- your app (cooliris) is the ONLY app so far to have this problem. i haven’t seen this with any other app i’ve downloaded and uninstalled. after wasting my time trying to solve it, it would have been nice if you owned up to it a bit more.
