Yes, this is something I have been waiting for from the day I moved from my iPaq PDA to iPhone. Wanted Fring to produce a iPhone native app. I have been using from last 1 years now and just loved it. I could make skype calls, use my SIP(VoIP) if needed, had all my IP messengers , ICQ, , and MSN under one app. And now we have on iPhone.

Installed it last night and man this rocks, I have just fallen in love with this app. It has everything. I called up my friend in US using skpye in and it worked like a charm(The app crashed a few times though).

fring-iphone Fring is now on iPhone - Skype/SIP(VoIP) calls via WIFI; Gtalk, ICQ, Yahoo, AOL and MSN all under one app :)

This stuff is just awesome. And the best thing about this app, it works in the background. So even if I close the app and move on to use some other app, still continues. ANd when there is a message or a call, it starts ringing :) Amazing.

By the way, is an Israeli startup that offers VOIP & Chat service for mobile phone. Click here for the press release.

I had covered RingFree VOIP web app yesterday and mentioned about its feature. But I was facing issues while registering the service on my iPhone. Since I am right now in India and wanted to check out its features, there was no Indian carrier option.

ringfree RingFree can be activated from India or anywhere else!

I checked  it again today and RingFree is now avilable to International users as well. There is now an option “Others” under carrier dropdown. I got myself registered and the app looks cool on my iPhone browser. I tried making a few calls and yes it works very well.  1 month free offer seems to work very well.

Go to https://rf.com on your iPhone to access this cooel web app.
